THE ASSOCIATION
L'Association Sportive des Joueurs de Golf du Chammet (ASJGC)
The Association’s mission is to support the development of golf and to organize the sporting life of the club, in partnership with the operator of the golf course. It represents the French Golf Federation.
Our association aims to promote golf to the widest audience, both through introductory and training activities and through competition.
In this context:
• It schedules the calendar and organizes the club’s competitions.
• It organizes training days with a professional.
• It supervises the participation of the teams that represent our club in various championships.
• It sets up introductory golf days in collaboration with the golf course operator, to introduce beginners and non-players to golf.
Membership in the association (individual: €36 in 2025; couple: €54) entitles you to discounted rates for competition entries, training sessions, and golf cart rentals.
If you wish to take part in the life of the club, in competitions at the Golf du Chammet or elsewhere, and meet other players, register with our sports association!

Ffgolf License
To participate in ASJGC competitions (and competitions at other clubs), a license from the French Golf Federation (Ffgolf) is required. A medical certificate or medical questionnaire is also required.
An Ffgolf license (2025 fee: €61) provides you with insurance coverage on the course (civil liability, personal accident, and repatriation assistance guarantees).
Your license (which can be taken out each spring through our association) allows you to participate in our competitions even as a beginner.
The Chammet senior team
Our mixed senior team (over 50 years old) has been competing for several years in the Coupe du Limousin Senior Mixed Team Cup. This Cup brings together 8 clubs from the Limousin region on each course, with teams of 6 players, from April to October. The five best scorecards are counted towards the net total. At the end of the season, a net winner is designated. The matches are played over 18 holes (or 2x9 holes) in a wonderfully friendly atmosphere.
Once a year, the Golf du Chammet hosts the other clubs on its course, bringing together 48 players.
